Stephen F. Austin's cross country and distance coach is heading to Ohio to take over the Bowling Green cross country and womens' track program.
The 6-time Southland Conference cross country Coach of the Year will be missed. Since coming to SFA in 2003 as a young coach, he has developed a Southland Conference distance powerhouse and helped head track coach Phil Olson make SFA a dominant figure on the track as well.
Bowling Green has made a great hire, but SFA is losing a tremendous coach and leader.
We all wish Lou the best as he heads north.
